So I wanted to give you some idea of what is upstairs, lots of decisions to be made but have already claimed a space for sewing!
Major works are required in the bathroom, including moving a window to another wall(!) so we are fitting a temporary bathroom in the pubs outdoor loos. We’ll have an electric shower out there (something of a novelty to the Morse-Brown family which will surely make up for trips to it in the middle of winter).
Work has begun in earnest in this room so it’s ready (in a fashion!) for when we move in. More pics to follow of this room…
I love this bedroom (pictured above) – it feels like you’re on a ships deck. Lots to do in here but not a priority, so just essential work on the windows will start here.
These rooms have been limewashed in times of old which has preserved the timbers from woodworm attacks. We have plans to treat timbers in similar ways as this is so effective (permission pending of course!)
Major work has already happened up here and through the windows at the back you get a wonderful view of roundway hill.
Well that’s a quick tour of upstairs, I’ve missed a few bits out which will pop up in other posts.
